Taking care of yourself

For Hair:

1.Brush your hair from roots to end daily before going to bed. It helps to distribute natural oils throughout the   shaft and gives hair a healthy sheen.

2.If you are combing wet hair, hold a handful at a time and work from center to ends, then scalp to center.

3.Always rinse out conditioner with cold water to seal the cuticle. It will bring shine to your hair.

4.Wear scarf or hat to protect your hair from sun damage.

5.Use only a wide- tooth comb, especially when hair is dry.

6.Use sulfate- free shampoos and conditioners.

For Brows:

1. Soften skin before tweezing by dabbing with a cotton ball soaked in warm water or cream.

2. Tweeze in the direction the hair grows.

3.For unruly brows, apply hairspray to an old brush, then brush brows upward and then outward.

For eyes:

1. Eye is the most delicate part of your face. So cleanse it with care. Never rub.

2. Reduce puffy eyes by splashing with cold water.

3. Remember not to lower your chin while applying mascara for you don't want mascara to get on your lid.

4. Ring finger puts the least amount of pressure on the skin. So always use it while applying moisturizer or concealer to the eye.

For face:

1. Don't touch your face unnecessarily. Breakouts can be caused by your own fingers.

2. Always apply pressure upward while applying cream or cleanser.

3. Use foundation, not concealer to cover up redness or blemishes.

4. Apply downward pressure while using powder. It smooths down facial hairs.

For Lips:

1.Rub off the flaky dry bits with damp wash cloth before going to bed. Then apply lip balm.

2. To conceal red cheeks, apply a bold color lip stick.

3. Smile when you put on your lip stick. It gives you complete coverage including corners.

For skin:

1. Apply lotion right after shower when skin is still damp.

2. Include lots of vegetables, water and fruit in your diet.

3. Microwave lotion for 5 seconds to soothe dry winter skin.

4. Use body scrub at least once a week. It helps to wipe off dead skin cells. Lotion and oil are easily absorbed by a freshly exfoliated skin.

For legs:

1. Elevate your feet when resting. It improves blood circulation in your legs.

2. Do not use creams that contain heavy fragrance or alpha hydroxy acids on freshly shaven legs. IT will cause rash.

3. When applying self- tanner, don't forget the back of your knees.

For hands:

1. Remove age spots with facial brightening cream.

2. To easily pull off nail polish, hold cotton saturated with polish remover firmly on your nail for few seconds and then only wipe it off.

For feet:

1. Massaging feet with a lanolin- based lotion helps you fight dryness.

2. A swollen feet can be treated by soaking the feet alternatively in hot water for 3 minutes and in cold water for one minute. This process is to be repeated for at least 15 minutes.

3. Use pineapple or kiwi skins to exfoliate heels.
